Gambino’s Pizza in Valley, NE

Gambino's Pizza - a brand new pizza spot minutes outside of west omaha, offering a lunch buffet 11am-2pm Monday-Friday with a salad bar!

My kids and I decided to stop and try something new today, and overall we had a great experience. The restaurant was super clean, and all the staff were friendly—checking on us multiple times to make sure everything was good. Huge plus! ⭐️

When we first arrived, my daughter went straight to the buffet (as kids do 😆) and grabbed a slice of pizza, a breadstick, and a piece of dessert pizza. The dessert pizza was a hit, but the breadstick and pizza were definitely past their prime—hard and not great. To be fair, we got there around 1:15 or so & we were basically the only customers there.. the buffet clearly hadn’t been touched in awhile.

But here’s where I really appreciated them: the man behind the counter immediately told me while I was paying, that he was making fresh pizzas and they’d be out shortly. And he meant it—within just a few minutes, piping hot, delicious pizzas came out, followed by a calzone and more fresh items. Everything made fresh was tasty and we really enjoyed it.

While waiting, I made myself (and my baby) a plate from the salad bar— The lettuce was crisp, everything was well stocked and clean, and none of the veggies were wilted or soggy. My little one loved the cold macaroni salad and sweet peas. I loved the variety of choices in toppings and dressings.
